Performance Characteristics of Polyester Filament Geotextile:
Polyester filament geotextile is directly produced by the polyester spinning and needle-punching process, with product specifications ranging from 80 to 800 g/m² for selection. It is a geosynthetic material widely used in geotechnical and civil engineering, manufactured through the method of polyester filament web formation and consolidation, where fibers are arranged in a three-dimensional structure. In addition to excellent mechanical properties, it also features superior longitudinal and transverse drainage capabilities, good elongation performance, and high chemical stability, including resistance to biological degradation, acids, alkalis, and aging. Furthermore, it boasts a wide pore size range, tortuous pore distribution, outstanding permeability, and filtration performance.
Polyester filament geotextile applications:
Backfiltering for hydraulic engineering dikes and slope protection, as well as isolation and anti-seepage for canals;
Foundation isolation, counterfiltration, drainage, soil slopes, retaining walls, pavement reinforcement, and drainage for highways, railways, and airport runways;
