Waterproof sheets—also known as geomembranes, black membranes, impermeable membranes, or puncture-resistant membranes—are typically classified as 'waterproof sheets' when their thickness is 0.8 mm or greater. Surface textures include smooth and textured (studded) finishes. Specifications range from 0.2 to 2.5 mm in thickness and 1 to 8 meters in width; types include composite and homogeneous (smooth) varieties, with material options such as LDPE, HDPE, EVA, and ECB. Available colors include black, semi-transparent white, and opaque white. Key applications include impermeable lining for subways, basements, air-raid shelters, and culverts; seepage control for highway and railway foundations; and use in sanitary landfills—often in conjunction with geotextiles or bentonite waterproofing blankets—to prevent leakage and gas emission. They also provide puncture resistance for landscaping projects and serve roles in rock engineering involving seepage control and separation, as well as reinforcement and protection. Primary applications include seepage control for earth-rock dams, rock-fill dams, masonry dams, concrete dams, tailings dams, sewage reservoir dams, canals, liquid storage tanks, farm septic tanks, lotus ponds, aquaculture facilities, and solid waste containment sites. Waterproofing sheets are generally categorized into separate-type and composite-type sheets, available in EVA and ECB materials. Separate-type sheets are used independently from the geotextile, whereas composite-type sheets feature the geotextile thermally bonded to the sheet; asphalt adhesive can also be applied to one side (self-adhesive composite waterproofing sheet). The geotextiles commonly used with these sheets weigh 300g or 350g. These sheets offer excellent flexibility, impermeability, elongation, and abrasion resistance, as well as superior separation capabilities and puncture resistance. They are free from chemical pollution, resistant to acids, alkalis, and various chemicals, and feature good dimensional stability and bonding properties, facilitating ease of installation.

Product Overview: EVA waterproofing sheets are manufactured using an advanced domestic two-stage co-extrusion single-screw process. The process involves heating, melting, plasticizing, extruding, and hauling off a mixture of EVA resin, reinforcing agents, and antioxidants. The resulting sheet can be thermally bonded with a geotextile layer (pre-fitted with suspension straps) to form a composite waterproofing sheet. Alternatively, an extrusion-calendering method may be used: resin is melted and plasticized in an extruder and forced through a slit die to form a molten sheet blank—which can be fused with suspension straps and calendered/cooled into a smooth film, or fused with a geotextile layer (pre-fitted with suspension straps) and calendered/cooled into a composite waterproofing sheet. 3: Drainage
Product Features: Resistant to chemical corrosion and UV radiation; resistant to aging and abrasion; high puncture resistance; easy to install; pollution-free. Applications: Waterproofing for new railways, highways, municipal roads, and light rail transit (including bridge decks), roofing, and underground projects; anti-seepage and corrosion-resistant lining for environmental projects such as water conservancy, sewage treatment, landfills, and chemical acid/alkali treatment tanks.
Product Series: Separate-layer waterproofing board (geotextile and suspension-strap waterproofing board laid in separate layers); Composite waterproofing board (geotextile and waterproofing board bonded together via spot or strip lamination; features edge welding seams and suspension straps on the geotextile, allowing for integrated on-site installation in a single step).
Product Specifications: Polyester geotextile: 300–400 g/m²; PE/EVA/ECB/ECD synthetic resin membrane thickness: 0.8, 1.0, 1.2, 1.5, 2.0 mm; width: 2–6 m. Installation Essentials: Substrate preparation—before installing the waterproofing board, measure and inspect the clearance; treat the substrate surface in areas with under-excavation, unevenness, or exposed anchor bolt heads to ensure compliance with clearance and surface requirements.
ECB refers to copolymer-modified bitumen (ECB) resin; it is a high-molecular-weight thermoplastic random polymer produced by high-pressure blending of copolymers (such as ethylene-vinyl acetate) with bitumen resin. It appears as black, spherical granules. EVA refers to ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer. Both are waterproofing materials and polymer copolymers, though their compositions differ slightly.
