Filament geotextile functions:
1. Isolation: that is, using filament geotextiles to isolate building materials (such as soil and sand, sand and gravel, soil and concrete, etc.) with different physical properties (particle size, distribution, consistency and density, etc.). It prevents two or more materials from being lost or mixed, maintains the overall structure and function of the materials, and enhances the load bearing capacity of the structure.
2. Filtration: When water flows from the fine-grained soil layer into the coarse-grained soil layer, the good air permeability and water permeability of the needle-punched filament geotextile are used to allow the water to pass through. And it effectively intercepts soil particles, fine sand, small stones, etc. to maintain the stability of the water and soil engineering.
3. Drainage: Filament geotextile is a good water-conducting material. Filament geotextile can form a drainage channel in the soil structure to remove excess liquid and gas inside the soil structure.
